  california, after failing to ban all religious gatherings (failed in court) has now banned all singing and chanting in religious places, including if you are on a live stream and the only person around.. i haven't heard a peep yet from the jw.borg about how to handle this new 'persecution' on religion, the only thing that came up with a search was this: .

  anyone else get a food box delivered by local congregation to your door - allegedly by the society?

  weird.

  i looked online and found a couple of youtube channels saying the society is taking food from food banks and giving it only to their congregations.

  i’ve heard some people praise him for his zeal against president trump.

  others have not been so praiseworthy toward the california congressman.. today he was so concerned that trump might be so emboldened now that he has won acquittal, that he suggests that trump might make a deal with russia and sell them the state of alaska.

  as jehovah’s witnesses, we were regularly told how awful a college education is.

  i’m no longer associated with the religion but i am not so pro university.

  it’s not because i think you are better off without a degree.

  I do wish they could do something to stop the professors from giving thier personal opinions and just teach . College is not for everyone ,but a college education is required for certain jobs . No one should stop someone from going after a degree if that's what they want to do with thier life.And they shouldn't have to hear some professors political opinions as they do it
